Depleted Lakers to Take on Grizzlies at Home

The Lakers welcome the Memphis Grizzlies to Los Angeles for the second meeting between the two teams in this young season. Last time out, the Grizzlies managed to pick up the win against a Laker team playing without Anthony Davis. Tonight it’s the Grizzlies who will be shorthanded, with Ja Morant and Desmond Bane both out.

Center Rotation

With Christian Wood out for a further four weeks with knee soreness and Jaxson Hayes out for 1-2 weeks with an ankle injury, the Lakers have very limited options at the Center position. Christian Koloko will likely be the backup for Anthony Davis, but what happens if either gets in foul trouble? The Lakers desperately need solutions at the center position with this roster even when healthy.

Cam Reddish

The introduction of Cam Reddish into the lineup has seemed to work really well. Reddish has been the nuisance defender that JJ Redick and his staff want him to be, providing real value on the perimeter of the Laker defense. At the beginning of last season he showed a lot of promise on the defensive end of the floor, but the latter part of his season was disrupted by injury. If Reddish can stay healthy he can provide real value.

Tip off is at 7PM PST as the Lakers look to level up their season series with the Grizzlies and continue building momentum early.
