Lakers Seek Continued Momentum vs Pistons

The Lakers return home to face the Detroit Pistons tonight after two impressive road wins in Sacramento. They will be looking to continue their momentum going into what could be an important game against Golden State on Christmas Day.

Gabe Vincent

During the last few games Gabe Vincent has been a valuable player for the Lakers. He is finding his shot from beyond the arc and is helping fortify the team’s perimeter defense. After struggling with injuries last year Vincent is showing flashes of his ability. If the Lakers can get a similar version of the Vincent they signed from Miami, he will fill a desperate need in the Laker backcourt.

Dalton Knecht

It’s been a rough December for Dalton Knecht, who has been in a shooting slump and went scoreless against Sacramento on Saturday in 5 minutes. Undoubtedly the rookie will come out of this slump, but the Lakers need his scoring off the bench. Maybe this upcoming home stretch is exactly what he needs to get out of this slump.

Can LA continue the momentum built in Sacramento with a win? Tip off is at 7:30 PM PST as the Lakers welcome the Pistons.
