Lakers vs Celtics

It’s the NBA’s biggest rivalry as the Boston Celtics travel to Los Angeles tonight to take on the Lakers. Boston are currently on a Western Conference road trip and will be looking to pick up a win on the second night of a back-to-back. LA is coming into this game off of a win over the Wizards and will be hoping to beat one of the best teams in the league – and the reigning champions.

The Lakers’ wing defense will be put to the test tonight with the challenge of guarding both Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. Both are incredible three-level scorers, so the Lakers will have to be disciplined defensively.

Three Point Battle

Boston is notoriously known for shooting threes in abundance – and that is what JJ Redick wants the Lakers to do more offensively. This game will likely be won (or lost) from beyond the three-point line. Defensively, the Lakers need to run Boston off the three and make it difficult for them to get their volume of three-point shots up.

At the other end, the Lakers must keep the ball moving. The Celtics have good defensive personnel, but lack an answer inside for Anthony Davis and LeBron James.
