Lakers Look to Continue Momentum vs Warriors

Photo/Associated Press

Coming off a huge win over the rival Boston Celtics, the Lakers travel to San Francisco to take on the Warriors. Both Rui Hachimura and LeBron James are questionable, but Jarred Vanderbilt is set to return for the Lakers after nearly losing a full calendar year to injury.

New Rotation?

With the return of Jarred Vanderbilt, how JJ Redick adjusts his rotation will be something to watch. Vanderbilt will certainly be on a minutes restriction and LA – quite rightfully – will want to be cautious with him. However when he does ramp up and gets more minutes, will Redick opt to start him or will he come off the bench? We’ve seen the value Vanderbilt brings on the defensive end got the last two years, and hopefully we see the impact of his return very soon.

Gabe Vincent

Gabe Vincent was excellent in the Lakers’ win over Boston. He provided three-point shooting alongside solid perimeter defense. The Laker bench really struggled with his absence, but he seems to be becoming more valuable with each game. Vincent showed in Miami how valuable he can be and the Lakers are looking like they’re starting to see more of that Vincent after extended injury struggles. Tip off is at 5:30 on ABC, as the Lakers look to build off the big win over Boston.
